The first and most important thing you need to do to increase your vertical leap is conditioning. You need to be in good physical condition to get the most out of whatever training program you decide to follow to increase your vertical. Cardiovascular training can be done many different ways, The first that probably comes to mind is jogging. Jogging 2 - 3 miles at least 4 times a week is excellent conditioning and if you can make time to do it more often, that is even better. If you don\'t like to jog or find it difficult to do, start by walking at a brisk pace and keep adding distance until you can jog comfortably. You can also use any of the many cardio devices available to you in a gym. The main point of the cardio is to get you in good enough shape that when you start doing the exercises needed to jump higher you can perform them at the highest possible level of your endurance. If you can\'t train hard it will not matter what you do, you will not see the gains you are looking for.
